**Cancellation policy for vacation rentals**


1. **Cancellation by the guest**

- **Up to 14 days before arrival**: Free cancellation possible.

- **From 13 days before arrival or in case of no-show**: 100% of the total rental price will be due.


2. **Refund and cancellation processing**

- If you cancel on time (within the free cancellation period), any amounts already paid will be fully refunded.

- Refunds will be made within [e.g., 14 days] of confirmation of the cancellation to the original payment method.


3. **Cancellation by the Landlord**

- The landlord is entitled to cancel the booking in cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters) or unforeseeable events (e.g., serious damage to the vacation rental). In such a case, all payments already made will be fully refunded.


- The guest has no further claims for damages.


4. **Rebookings**

- The guest can request a rebooking to an alternative period up to [30 days] before arrival. This is subject to availability and must be confirmed by the landlord.

- Any price differences due to different seasons will be adjusted accordingly.


5. **Recommendation: Travel Insurance**

- We recommend purchasing **travel cancellation insurance** to protect yourself against any cancellation fees if you are unable to travel due to unforeseeable circumstances (e.g., illness).
